Picture this.
January, outskirts of Pune. Workers are racing against time - wiring cameras, welding seats, installing an elevator onto a bus that needs to be in Manipur - at the other end of India - in a week. The catch? Only one team can work at a time. Crews juggling speakers, lights, cameras and LED screens, all essential to capture every moment of this historic journey. Somehow, the bus makes it.
March. A mountain of merchandise arrives at our office, which suddenly feels too small. Thousands of individual deliveries needed across the country. We figure it out.
October. The day before a shoot, our client's star gets an urgent call to be in Delhi tomorrow. We have 12 hours to bring the entire shoot forward. Frantic calls, art direction, equipment logistics - by 7am, we're done. 14 hours ahead of schedule.
These aren't merely stories - they're glimpses of the chaos we've learned to inhabit, to own, and to thrive within in 2024. Looking back, I'm struck by our capacity to handle increasingly complex challenges under intense pressure. Growth, we've learned, comes from stretch. From pushing against the limits of your capabilities until they expand. There's no other way. Adapt or die.
The last few years tested us like never before. If Bharat Jodo Yatra taught us the power of perseverance, this year demanded we take it several notches higher. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra was the sequel that raised every stake - faster pace, tougher terrain, more moving parts, higher expectations. This wasn't just another campaign; it was the opening move of the greatest democratic exercise in human history. We had to deliver. And we did.
We've had the opportunity to work across the country - from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in 2022 and Manipur to Mumbai in 2024 - an experience few others share.
From there, we dove headfirst into an election campaign that validated our core belief: authentic storytelling, rooted in ground reality, will always find resonance. But it's not just about politics. Our journey across domains - from political consulting to brand communications, entertainment and production - has revealed a universal truth that while these fields seem distinct, they're connected by a common thread: the transformative power of authentic storytelling.
This year marked a deliberate evolution in how we approach our work. Our writers' room we've established isn't just another initiative - it represents our deepest commitment to storytelling. While most of our narrative work has been in service of brands, campaigns, or political movements, this is different. Here, the story serves only itself. It's a natural progression of our belief that compelling narratives can move mountains, change minds, and open hearts.
This evolution has taught us something fundamental about our journey: chaos isn't necessarily our enemy – it's opportunity wearing a misleading name tag. Our approach, sometimes criticized for being too widespread, has proven its worth. We've learned that loyalty isn't transactional but transformational. You can only win loyalty by offering it in the first place. As long as there is trust in relationships, you can achieve remarkable things. This year tested us with chaos. We faced it with a team that rallied together, head on. Together with Savio, I'm truly fortunate to have a team and a culture where there's always someone willing to step up. While navigating chaos, that trust is the bridge that gets you through to the other side. Those who lose trust, lose their way.
The year was extra special for the variety of work we were able to do. From marketing the grooviest T-Series chartbusters of the year, to orchestrating double Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra's double role in a promo for BGMI! We embraced new challenges with KONE, dove into creative territories with FNP, and pushed the boundaries of what's possible in digital storytelling. May the coming year be equally rewarding.
As we step into 2025, Teen Bandar isn't just adapting to change – we're shaping it. The challenges ahead are significant, but they're also clarifying. Our path forward is focused and deliberate: architecting political and personal campaigns across the spectrum, partnering with brands to craft compelling narratives, and developing our own original stories through our writers' room. These aren't just business objectives; they're expressions of why we started this journey: to create impact that matters.
In a world of increasing chaos, we're not merely surviving; we're learning to conduct its symphony.
